Recently our Club donated $5000- to support our work - $1500- for Sukanya's hostel to finish a bedroom and storeroom. They are expecting 4 or 5 new children at this hostel in a few weeks (when school starts) and these rooms are needed. See the pictures below.
This was the site for the new rooms. They are built under the existing hostel.
We also gave $3500- for siteworks, drains and some funds to start building a cultural centre at the Akha hostel football field and cultural centre.
The siteworks are progressing and things but slowed with rain.
