Borderless Friendship WA – hill tribe hostels, Thailand

The International Committee approved $12,000 for Borderless Friendship WA (BFWA), and in September $10,000 was donated via RAWCS. The funds support three hostels for hill tribe children in Thailand:
- Sukanya’s Friendship Home
- the Akha hostel
- Namee & Suwit’s Prao Lahu hostel
BFWA has sent its sincere thanks to the club. BFWA also held its AGM, and we congratulate Steve Carson, who has joined the BFWA committee.
Steve has recommended holding club social functions at different Thai restaurants, with the aim of encouraging them to support Borderless Friendship by sponsoring children, or at least by displaying a QR code sign for donations.
